Activities & Attractions
Activities
Getting from one destination to the next is half the fun in Venice, so enjoy the romantic gondola and water taxis rides through the city’s meandering canals. On land (which is albeit a loose term in Venice), waterfront palazzos and historic churches look like paintings come to life and are brimming with colorful Venetian tales. San Marco square is a must-see with its 800-year old basilica, high-end shopping, and phenomenal street musicians. And of course, being Italian, the city has endless restaurants to eat and drink your way through.
