The Islands of Tahiti enjoy year-round tropical weather. Dry season runs between May to October and has average temperatures of 82 degrees Fahrenheit. November through April is the wet season, with average temperatures of 86 degrees F and occasional showers.
Beaches
Tikehau is home to a number of beautiful pink and white sand beaches which lead right to the clear, warm lagoon waters. Most of the beaches are unexplored, so you can enjoy the sand to yourself before you dive into the water for snorkeling, scuba diving and swimming.

Tikehau is best explored on the water, with some of French Polynesia’s best snorkeling and diving. You can get up close to large manta rays, sea turtles, and playful bottlenose dolphins. The lagoon waters are also great for unwinding and swimming. Or, find a patch of soft pink sand and unwind under a coconut palm.
