Language
The Bahamas is a developed, English-speaking nation, although you might hear Bahamian English. It’s a mixture of Queen’s diction, African influence and island dialect. The “h” is often dropped, so it sounds like “ouse” for “house” or “t’anks” for “thanks.”

September to May is the most popular time for visitors to the Out Islands of The Bahamas, when temperatures average from 70 to 75 degrees Fahrenheit a day. Nighttime temperatures cool down by only 5 to 7 degrees. And, the more northerly Out Islands of The Bahamas experience temperatures that average about 5 degrees cooler than their southern neighbors.
Beaches
The Out Islands are known for their beautiful beaches. In particular, Cat Island Beaches, Exuma Beaches, and Harbour Island Beach are popular.
