Activities & Attractions
Activities
There’s no shortage of pretty Caribbean beaches in St. John, so carve out time for snorkeling, sailing, or lounging on beaches like Maho Beach and Trunk Bay. If you want to browse local art and folklore, try visiting the Elaine Ione Sprauve Museum. Hiking is a great way to explore, so try the Francis Bay or Reef Bay trails, which are unspoiled island refuges. In town, there are great shops to peruse, ranging from specialty spice shops to pretty bamboo crafting studios. Island-hopping is also a popular activity since St. John is so close to St. Croix and St. Thomas.
