The principle beach near the capital is Boca Chica, with shallow, clear waters and a color reef. Caribe Beach, along with Guayacanes and Juan Dolio, are perfect for long walks under coconut palms.

For a romantic stroll, the Malecon is a stunning Caribbean seaside boardwalk.
