Activities & Attractions
Activities
The difficulty and beauty of Rome is that the ‘must-sees’ likely outnumber a single visit to the city, with nearly endless museums, galleries, churches, and historic ruins worth visiting. Of course, the Coliseum, Pantheon, Vatican, Spanish Steps, Sistine Chapel and Trevi Fountain are iconic gems documenting the city’s famous artistic and religious pursuits. Aside from sightseeing, Rome is filled with beautiful cobblestone plazas (like Piazza Navona) lined with cozy cafes for a hearty meal after a day on your feet. Rome’s unique boutiques are also filled with sumptuous Italian goods, so shopping is a must.
