Climate & Beaches
Climate
Panama has a tropical climate, with temperatures ranging from 85 to 95 degrees F. Panamanian summer is from December to April and the rainy season is May to November.
Beaches
Though not as well-known as its neighbors for beaches, Panama has breathtaking islands like Comarca Kuna Yala off its Caribbean coast that have powdery white sand and vibrant coral reefs. The Las Perlas Archipelago and “Slippers Island” also have rich displays of coral and bright, beautiful water to swim and snorkel through.
Activities & Attractions
Activities
With two oceans to explore, along with rainforests, mountains, and Panama City, there is plenty to do here. Colon Island is named for Columbus and has bright green Caribbean waters perfect for snorkeling and diving. The Cays are a series of remote Archipelagos jutting into the ocean with shallow reefs that are virtually uninhabited and great for day tours. If you want to relax as you see the country, the Panama Railroad is a great sightseeing trip. Of course, Panama City, the largest in Central America, has a bustling food scene and gleaming high rises for shopping and dining.
