Ontario has many beaches, which border four of the Great Lakes, Hudson Bay and James Bay. Ontario also has beaches within national parks. The number one beach in Canada is Sauble Beach, which is situated in Bruce County on Lake Huron. Other well-known beaches include Port Stanley, Port Dover and Owen Sound.
Activities & Attractions
Activities
Try a cruise near Niagara Falls to check out the local islands made from primordial glaciers. Or, for the more adventurous, you can catch a boat (poncho in hand) to the bottom of the falls and experience the force of the water first hand. In Toronto, there are plenty of museums to browse through (including one dedicated to shoes!), or try Fort William Historical Park.
Nightlife
Toronto is home to a thriving indie music scene, so catch a local band while you’re in town. The city is also a gastro-hub and known for great food at their lounges, clubs, and restaurants.
