Activities & Attractions
Activities
A tour guide is a smart idea if you’re looking to hike and explore the island, as the experienced locals can take you to remote trails and tell you about the history of the island as you walk. Charlestown feels like a colonial time warp, with plantation-style homes and Georgian shops. Stop by the town and search out a rooftop restaurant for a romantic dinner. The Hamilton Estate ruins are the remains of a sugar plantation and have wonderful views of St. Kitts. If you’ve never played before, cricket is the leading sport on the island and popular with locals.
