Beaches
Considered to be one of the ultimate Caribbean beaches by many travel magazines, Seven Mile Beach has gorgeous white sands and calm, clear water. It’s also a great spot for shallow snorkeling or parasailing. On the island of Cayman Brac, there are a number of beautiful coves and limestone bluffs for a more secluded beach experience. On the north side of Grand Cayman, Rum Point has great snorkeling and swimmer-friendly shallow waters.
Activities & Attractions
Activities
The Stingray City Sandbar is one of the top attractions, where the normally shy animals gather by the hundreds to be fed from local dive and fishing boats. It’s also a popular snorkeling site, with dramatic ship wrecks and colorful coral reefs. In Cayman Brac, try a dive through a Russian warship that sunk in the 90’s and has diverse marine life. On land, the rugged Mastic Trail will get you up close to curious parrots and iguanas, or try an excursion through a local cave. The island also has a number of great shops, with duty-free purchasing.
