Marriage Requirements
For couples planning to get married in Acapulco, Mexico with a civil marriage ceremony, a valid passport and an original and copy of birth certificates annotated and translated by an authorized translator certified in the Spanish language are required. Acapulco is hot and sunny all year round. The average temperature is between 80 and 92 degrees Fahrenheit. The warmest months are July and August. June to October is considered the rainy season. The peak tourist seasons are during the month of December and during the mid-summer.
Beaches
Playa Icacos is one of the largest beaches in the area and has a great selection of watersports. If you’re looking for an excursion, Barra Vieja Beach is outside of the city limits, but is secluded and offers horseback riding and massages on the beach.

Aside from the adrenaline-filled outdoor sports and hanging at the beach, try jumping from a seaside cliff at La Quebrada or taking a catamaran through the rocky coastline.
Nightlife
Nightlife is a big pull in Acapulco. The nightclubs and discothèques are countless and some are set against the backdrop of the bay, making them particularly beautiful at as the sun goes down (and comes back up).
