Sydney has more than 70 beaches, from secluded bays and national parks to world-famous strips of sand. They are all generally within easy reach of the city. Bondi Beach and Shelly Beach are favorites of many travelers. Another great option is to catch the winding walk from Bondi to Bronte, with chiseled sandstone cliffs that become the backdrop for the Sculptures by the Sea exhibition.
