Activities & Attractions
Activities
Moorea is a great choice for travelers looking to keep busy while they enjoy Tahiti’s endless natural beauty. On the water, there is an aquarium in the lagoon (an aptly named ‘lagoonarium’) that has crystal-clear waters and extensive marine life in its coral reef. Swim, snorkel, or dive through these waters to get up close to sharks, sting rays, moray eels, and colorful tropical fish. On land, a hike up Magic Mountain delivers unparalleled views of the islands, and the Belvedere lookout trail is a worthwhile vista of the volcano.
