London has a temperate oceanic climate. Winter temperatures fluctuate between 30-58 degrees Fahrenheit, with some rain and snow. During the summer, temperatures average around 75 degrees F. As you may have heard, pack an umbrella as this city does see a fair bit of rain.
Beaches
London is not particularly known for beaches. If you’re interested in visiting a beach outside of the city, there are many seaside towns in England with beaches that are popular in the summer.

There’s a wonderful variety of ways to explore London, whether you want to browse Van Goghs at the National Gallery, snap a photo of the skyline in the London eye, or shop at the Camden market. The city has dozens of distinctive neighborhoods, including the famed West End, which is home to the trendy and nightlife filled Soho, lively theatre district, and Trafalgar Square. There are also a number of smaller neighborhoods, including Hyde Park, Westminster, and Notting Hill with excellent museums, parks, and shops.

London is also home to a thriving night scene, whether you are interested in a local British pub, jazz bar in Soho or swanky lounge.
