Marriage Requirements
Miami weddings require both spouses to apply for a marriage license in person. The marriage ceremony must be performed within 60 days of the issuance of the license. All U.S. Citizens must provide one valid form of identification with their picture, signature and date of birth, as well as their Social Security Number. Non-U.S. Citizens must provide either an Alien Registration Card, driver’s license or passport if they do not have a Social Security Number. Divorce, death or annulment decrees may apply.
